History
The Department has received 41 students for the first time in the undergraduate program in the 2015-2016 academic year. 41 students in 2016-2017 and 52 students and 4 DGS students were enrolled in 2017/208.
Qualification Awarded
Students are entitled to a bachelor's degree when they successfully complete all courses, internships and projects in the four-year Computer Engineering degree program.
Admission Requirements
For Turkish Citizens: (1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
For International Students: (1) High School Diploma and its "Certificate of Equivalency” granted by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE). (2) Exam for International Student (YÖS) or international university entrance examinations such as SAT I, ACT, etc., recognised by the national authority in higher education, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their scores obtained from YÖS or equivalent exams.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of this programme, students may apply to second cycle degree or directly to integrated third cycle (doctorate) programmes.
Graduation Requirements
A student is required to have a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grades.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates; In the information sector, software, hardware and information systems, public institutions; Computer Engineer, Information Processing Specialist, Network Specialist, Programmer, Database Specialist, Information Security Specialist.

For each course taken, the student is given one of the following grades by the lecturer. The letter grades, grade points, and percentage equivalents are given below:
